Forced displacement is a widespread and complex issue that affects millions of people around the world. It refers to when individuals or groups are compelled to flee their homes or places of habitual residence due to persecution, conflict, human rights abuses, natural disasters, or other forms of violence or threats to their safety and well-being. Forced displacement can take different forms, including internal displacement, cross-border displacement, and refugee movements.

The experience of forced displacement can be incredibly difficult and traumatic for individuals and families. When people are forced to flee their homes, they often lose everything they own and are separated from their communities, friends, and loved ones. They may also face numerous challenges and risks, including violence, discrimination, exploitation, and poverty. Displaced people may struggle to find shelter, food, water, and other basic necessities, and they may be vulnerable to diseases and other health problems.

Moreover, forced displacement can have profound and long-lasting effects on people's mental health and well-being. The stress and trauma of uprooting their homes and communities can lead to anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. Displaced children may also suffer from developmental delays and other health issues, and they may be unable to attend a school or receive a proper education.

In summary, forced displacement is a complex and difficult issue that can have far-reaching consequences for individuals, families, and communities. It is important to provide support and assistance to displaced people to help them rebuild their lives and overcome the challenges they face.
The process of evacuating the residents and fighters of the cities of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah ended after an agreement between Iran and “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.”HTS
At the time, the agreement stipulated the removal of those who refused to stay among the fighters and residents of Madaya and Zabadani to the north, in addition to the Yarmouk camp, in exchange for the removal of the entire population of Kafriya and Al-Foua in two batches, and the release of 1,500 detainees held by the regime.

This agreement was reached by “Tahrir al-Sham” and “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” with Tehran, under Qatari sponsorship.

“Tahrir al-Sham” agreed with Iran, last Tuesday, on a mechanism for the exit of all fighters from the towns of Kafriya and al-Fu’ah, in exchange for the release of detainees and prisoners of the Syrian regime.

The agreement provides for the release of 1,500 detainees from the prisons of the Syrian regime, with 80% of those arrested by the regime from the beginning of 2018 until the end of last April, and 10% of those arrested in 2017, in addition to 10% of those arrested in earlier years.

The agreement also provided for releasing 37 combatant prisoners from Iranian prisons in the Sayyidah Zeinab area in Damascus, in addition to four prisoners inside the town of Al-Foua.
